Keep Walking 04:57
One of those weeks When you've been asleep For seventeen days Or is it a phase If You don't get high From above the sky You might have to wait And you can't have that You just can't wait. You just can't wait. Light the candles Kneel and beg Sweat the blood Give to get Could be a choir Could be one Making sense Where there is none One of those lives When you wonder why It doesn't turn out The way you’d like Why you, why me Why aren't I special and shiny and weird and crazy and everything else that someone like me deserves to be? It's so unfair. Can you know what he's thinking Do you know what he said Cornered and boxed And locked in your head I always thought He was bigger than that. Where is substance Where is evidence Keep walking Keep walking Don't stop Just keep walking

I want a day where everything goes right I want the good times to always last I want the sun to shine when I walk Is that too much to ask I want a country without a moat or walls I want a king that isn’t out of touch I want peace and quiet when I rest Am I really asking too much I want a preacher who doesn’t need my cash I want a God who can hear me when I call I want a heaven that lets everyone in Is that order too tall?
3.
There's a space in my head Where I would keep All the things I'd find today But a hole in the side Of my open mind Filled it with noise and grey Now where shall I keep it all Something has to go I’ll lose this box of cares To make room for the show But somethings gotta give Somethings gotta give I can’t hold it all and stand What’s going to give? Numbers push out colours Colours despise the grey Grey is practical, factual The facts dont let me have my say Feel it, or know it Calculate or earn it Rich man or gentleman I can’t have it all somethings got to give Take one, leave one I never learned that trick But somethings gotta give Somethings gotta give I can’t hold it all and stand What’s going to give?

Our Thoughts 04:13
All we are is a result of our thoughts. We are founded in our thoughts We are made up of our thoughts We make our world with our thoughts You are what you imagined yourself to become Imagination is stronger than knowledge Knowledge is limited. With the imagination, you can encircle the world.

The king was in his counting house In an orange safety jacket Picking up cigarette ends from the street The queen was in the parlor Handing out bread and honey To the rich, the humble And meek The whole earth is flat We are the ones who beg Helping one another Find the water and bread Shiny things dazzle you Until you can't see beauty Squeaky wheels deafen you To the poor and needy If you look down on me I'll look down on you it's more like pity I can't hold your values If you look down on me I'll look down on you it's not really irony It’s just a kind of clue If you look down on me It says more about you I don’t know where you could stand To have that shameful view

He knew what he said , He was misunderstood His tie was on straight , They said he was good To go Pushed pass the crowds of mics and lenses Clutching the books that held his defences Of lies No ones watching, Just a few friends The walls are deaf, no one will know But the tape If you don’t remember It didn’t happen But when you’re on your own You play the tape. It was going your way how could this happen This is so unfair then they played the tape The tape One final call and I get to account For every lazy word And every fount Of dirt After the parade has gone home One on one I’m asked to atone I can’t It wasn’t me it was them I’ll clear my throat of the phlegm That has stifled the truth for years And they’ll play the tape

about

Being conscious of ourselves, aware of our thoughts and intentions, and having empathy for others is a way to walk each other home.

The whole earth is flat. There is no hierarchy, no spiritual class system. Nobody has the one single answer, and ones that think they do don't make everyone else wrong. We are all one, yet individuals.

Inspired by a need for change, Home 1.0 is a collection of considerations of how we can walk each other home. Sometimes the rhythm is driving, sometimes it eases the melodies along. The guitars chime, drive and soar. The keyboards add harmony and texture.

I hope you feel inspired, motivated, encouraged and challenged. I hope the music changes things, as music should.

Peace!
